The MedTech Journey

From Operating Room to Patent Protection

The Pavisus journey began in 2018 with a frustration familiar to most anesthesiologists: blood and secretions blocking the camera lens on videolaryngoscopes during critical moments. Dr. Stoffel experienced this repeatedly during difficult airway procedures and decided to develop a solution.

The innovative dual-channel blade design integrates suction and insufflation directly into the blade, eliminating the need to remove the instrument for cleaning - a critical advantage when every second counts.

Solid IP Portfolio

The technology is protected by two granted US patents (US 12,201,276 and US 11,690,506) with protection through 2041-2043. International applications are pending in EU, Japan, China, Korea, Canada, and Australia through PCT WO2022/009050.

Expert Validation

World-renowned airway expert Professor Andre van Zundert has validated the technology in a published Letter to the Editor in Anesthesia & Analgesia, highlighting its potentially groundbreaking impact on emergency airway management.

"By addressing core technical limitations through integrated engineering solutions rather than external attachments, this approach may help establish videolaryngoscopy as the standard for first-line use in all intubations."

— Professor Andre van Zundert, FRCA, MD, PhD, MBA | Letter to the Editor, Anesthesia & Analgesia, 2025

The AI Journey

From Tech Enthusiast to AI Expert

Dr. Stoffel's AI journey started early with medical workflow automation, but accelerated dramatically with ChatGPT's launch in November 2022. As an early adopter, he immediately explored AI-assisted coding, document writing, and research synthesis.

In October 2024, with Claude Code's launch, an intensive development phase began that resulted in a comprehensive automation system now orchestrating 39 projects with over 150 custom AI skills.

System Capabilities

  • Multi-AI orchestration (4 models working together)
  • Workflow and process automation
  • Accounting and financial management systems
  • Content creation and social media
  • Research synthesis and document writing
  • Project management and task orchestration
